At this year's DKT, ACH Solution showed the processing of a liquid silicone rubber (LSR), which already crosslinks at 110°C, i.e. at a significantly lower temperature than previously available types. So-called "LSR Frisbees" were produced on the Engel system as demo parts with high wall thickness. The material manufacturer was Momentive.

It was produced with a two-cavity mold and direct injection using the ACH Solution valve gate system.

The material was supplied via an ACH MAXIMIX 2G dosing system for 200 liter drums. The tool and the removal gripper for the robotic system also came from ACH Solution.

In addition, our micro-application for the smallest parts was running at the Engel stand. In the micro sector, we can ensure smooth production of small parts down to less than 0.0005 g with tools and cold runners from ACH Solution.
